OK so a colleague of mine suggested that I should have like an official rating system for when I write about restaurants and stuff… Brilliant idea, thanks Keith!!! I’ve realised that there’s only so many times you can use adjectives like “totally yum, awesome, amazing, outta this world” etc. Or even “blegh, poo, blah, made me wanna cry” etc – on the other end of the scale. haha. I get it. You need something measurable…
So I want to take this opportunity to present to you, the “Miss K Kiss-o-Meter“. I know, I know – you’re totally blown away by that ingenious name, but remember people, I am pretty damn awesome (well, that’s what I keep telling myself!)
Cool, so how will it work exactly? Well it’s pretty simple – I will use a 1 to 5 kiss rating scale:
– I won’t be calling you again… and don’t be calling me either!
– OK, I didn’t want to kill myself, but I still don’t think this is going to work.
– Right, things are warming up. This might lead to a dirty little fling…
– I will be stalking you until death do us part…
** And then a half a kiss will be denoted by a lipstick smudge. Like so: ![]()
So that’s it folks – I hope that makes sense. If not, just read it again.
Let the reviewing begin!!!
Chat soon. xxx

Hmm it seems like your website ate my first comment (it was extremely long) so I guess I’ll just sum it up what I submitted and say, I’m thoroughly enjoying your blog.
I too am an aspiring blog blogger but I’m still new to the whole thing. Do you have any recommendations for novice blog writers? I’d definitely appreciate it.
Oh no! Well at least I got this one.
Thanks so much for the blog love. I really love hearing from people who enjoy my ramblings. As for advice, hmmm, it’s a tough one. Depends on what you want to achieve with your blog… But some basic things would be: Update your blog regularly so there’s always something new for your readers (for example I aim for a new post 6 days a week). Also try to publish your posts at the same time / same days as this helps your readers know when to check back for more. Use lots of tags for your posts as this will help Google to direct more traffic your way. Just try to think of any and all terms people might enter which relates to your post. Always be honest, give your own opinion and let your personality shine through. People will follow you if they connect with you as a person. Also publish links to your posts to Facebook, Twitter, etc to spread the word. Hope that helps a little… and good luck! It’s such a great creative outlet, that’s for sure.
