Last Sun morning, after breakfast, we headed over to Stanford for a boat cruise on the Klein River with River Rat Boat Cruises.

Now this is no fast-paced, speed boat vibe.  The idea is to sit back, relax and take in all the beautiful scenery…  Our mode of transportation for this little adventure was this baby:

A little old school, a bit rustic... but hey, I liked it.

I liked the fact that our boat was quiet and that the ride was smooth.  It really gave you the opportunity to appreciate the surroundings.  Check it out:

There was something so incredibly calming about it.  Eventually we all just sat back in silence, enjoying the fresh air and the wind in our faces.  Absolute bliss.
