When I was walking around the V&A last weekend after my Marine EcoTour, I noticed that the Coca-Cola crate man is now Olympic themed:
That got me thinking about how well our guys & girls did in the London Olympics as well as the Paralympics which is wrapping up tomorrow. It makes you feel all warm inside with pride, doesn’t it? It also reinforces the thinking that anything is possible if you put your mind to it. I just think we tend to forget that when you get bogged down by your day to day routine & stresses.
I love this quote by American columist, Doug Larson:
“Some of the world’s greatest feats were accomplished by people not smart enough to know they were impossible.”
I got all this deep stuff from the Coca-Cola crate man? Yup, I’m weird like that.
xxx

Why did they build a Coca-Cola crate man? I mean it’s awesome that it is there so it can inspire people like it did with you, but what was the reason for building it in the first place if they only ‘olympified’ him now?
As far as I know it was erected for the soccer world cup originally…
Oh ok
Realize now my tone was quite weird I was just wondering cause I saw it the other day – I’m from sweden so had no idea what it was or why it was there. Thanks for the answer
Hey, no worries. It is a bit of an odd thing.
