So yesterday I told you guys about this year’s Rocking the daisies festival and what a great time it was…

But someone who had an even wilder time than I had was my little sidekick, Kevin… Kevin is a monkey. 

He started off having quite a chilled time, just hanging around and checking out the scenery and the madness.  But then he became quite the popular little fellow.  Everywhere we went people wanted to say hi, give him free drinks, invite him to hang with them, have photo’s taken with him, etc.  He was especially popular with the ladies and managed to break quite a few hearts as well…

His drink of choice?  Double vodka & Red Bull of course.

You go for it buddy!

Of which he had way way too many though and ended up feeling not so great…

Rookie mistake… hehe

Luckily a quick rehydratration session had him all fighting fit again.

Ooooh, it feels gooooood.

Good thing too, because over at the main stage there were quite a lot of wild animals to watch out for.  We spotted giraffes, rhinos, wolves, bears and even… a big ass scary tiger…

On the left: Kevin is still oblivious to the pending danger. Then… a first sighting! He’s nervous… and then the tiger pops outta nowhere!!!

I of course made sure he had a swift exit to safety.  But Kevin was pretty shaken up.  We had to give him a beer just to calm his nerves.  Poor thing.

Night time brought the freezing cold, but I made sure little Kevin was snug as a bug:

So he could still enjoy doing his most favourite thing in the world… watching the bands:

Aaaah.   So there you have it folks.  The biggest (even though he was one of the smallest) party animal at RTD!
