Only a few more days left to help the Santa Shoebox Project

Right, I will admit, I’ve been fast asleep on this one this year.  It’s been such a crazy one that the last few months have just felt like a bit of a blur and it hadn’t even dawned on me that we’re fast approaching the xmas season once again…

Well that was until I saw a tweet this week about the Santa Shoebox Project and I immediately thought “Oh crap! I hope I can still make it before their cut off!”

Luckily yes, after consulting the Santa Shoebox website I confirmed that they are still  accepting shoeboxes until 27 Oct.  So that means there is still about a week and a bit left people!  I’ve registered (something which takes less than 5min) and my mission now for this Sat is to get my boxes sorted.

This year they are aiming to help a whopping 95319 kids by making sure they have a little something special on xmas morning.  They’ve done well so far I see, but they still need all the help they can get.  So I’m hoping by spreading the word I can maybe get a few more people on board.

The site explains in quite a lot of detail what you need to do and what you need to get to fill each box, so it’s really really easy.  And then there are also various drop off points available so you don’t even have to travel too far.  The Cape Town drop off points are as follows:
