Say hello to Jon…

Sipping on some Diemersfontein Pinotage at this year’s Pinotage on Tap festival

Jon is a photographer by trade, operating under the name ishotimages.  He works on anything from sports photography, beauty, and weddings to events and commercial work.  So yes, he’s a “creative”.  Now Jon happens to believe that he’s in fact not a hipster.  BUT I’m gonnna have to respectfully disagree on that one.

I mean come on, all the signs are there:  interesting moustache action (outside of Movember month) – check; V-neck T – check; black skinny jeans – check.  It’s right out of the hipster handbook really.  But what really stood out for me was how he actually colour-coded his watch & footwear:

And we all know orange is the “hippest” colour of the season…

So sorry Jon, you are definitely in the hipster inner circle with this look and thus an ideal candidate for Hipster Spotting.  But I love it.
