This year’s Kamers vol Skenke kicked off yesterday and from what I’ve heard, this is the place to go to sort out all your xmas shopping.

The event is taking place on the Lourensford Wine Estate in Somerset West (home of the Millhouse Kitchen) and will be running until Sat, 27 Oct with opening hours from 8:30am to 5pm daily, except for Fri when it will be open until 8pm.  

What to expect:  Innovative design & beautifully handmade things.  Everything from jewellery, designer clothing & accessories to gourmet food goodies, ceramics, furnishings, decor items and more…

So if you’re in need of a bit of retail therapy with loads of creative flair, this is the place to be.  Tickets cost only R50 and you can purchase them via Computicket over here.  I’m going to be heading through on Saturday and I’m really looking forward to it as this will be the first time I’m able to make it out there.  I’m already stretching & flexing my shopping muscles big time.
