Fundraiser for Connor in association with Bafunny Bafunny – do it!

Meet Connor Yates-Butler.  Connor is the nephew of a friend of mine.  He and his twin brother, Caleb, were born 10 weeks prematurely back on the 22nd of Nov 2010 and sadly Connor suffered damage to his brain due to quite a traumatic birth.  (You can read more about his condition over here).  But why am I telling you all of this?  Well because his family’s trying to raise much needed funds for his medical care and it actually couldn’t be easier for you to help.

They have secured a donation of tickets for this weekend’s Bafunny Bafunny: Rings of Fire comedy show.  The tickets would normally sell for R250, but for only R220 you can enjoy a great show and also do a great thing, because the proceeds will be going directly to ensuring that this awesome little guy gets the care he needs…

Here’s a little background info about the show:

They conquered the World Cup of Funny in 2010. Then they broke all SA comedy records with their Victory Tour that same year. In 2011 they reunited for The Odd Shaped Ball to defend their title and make comedy history.

Now, SA’s Comedy Dream Team is gearing up for their biggest challenge to date… to represent our country at the 2012 Games with Bafunny Bafunny ‘Rings of Fire’. They have The Cup; they have the Odd Shaped Ball. Can they continue their comedy legacy in the ultimate discipline and bring home The Gold?

Support SA’s best and fly the flag for our comedy heroes as the countdown to Rings of Fire begins.

With Mark Banks, Tats Nkonzo, Deep Fried Man, David Kibuuka, Nik Rabinowitz, Mpho Popps and Chris Forest
